LIFE Process

Get into LIFE:

LIFE is an acronym which stands for Love, Inspiration, Fellowship and Evangelism. These four words encapsulate the purpose of this foundational part of Jubilee’s strategy to build Christ's church in the earth.

LIFE Groups are the foundational cells that make up Jubilee Church. Unlike traditional models of cells, fellowship groups, or pastoral care groups, these cells are discipleship groups – homogeneous groups of people fulfilling the great commission and building the church.

Acts 2:46 speaks of church growth continuing at through “temple” meetings and “house to house” meetings. The New Testament process of building the church is directly connected to small group meetings and discipleship. Accordingly, we believe it is imperative for every member of Jubilee to belong to some type of LIFE Group. We believe every member of Jubilee should be a part of a LIFE Group. Even if you can’t make every meeting, you can still connect with a LIFE Leader and build strong relationships that will last.

To become a member of a LIFE Group, simply find a group you can connect to and get involved. Click here to download information about the LIFE Groups currently available. If you don’t know where to begin in this process, simply fill out the online form by clicking here and send us your information so we can help you get connected.

Once you are connected, we believe every person has the potential to lead. We want to encourage you to step through our LIFE Leadership process and become a leader of your own LIFE Group. Remember, you don’t have to be completely discipled or prepared before you can lead. You just have to be a step ahead of the people you are leading.

The Three types of LIFE Groups:
1. Family LIFE Groups – These groups meet weekly or bi-monthly and may, or may not include childcare. The focus of these groups is discipleship in couple or family groups.
2. Discipleship LIFE Groups – These are homogeneous groups made up of all men or all women. These groups are designed to prepare and motivate leaders and disciples in the body of Christ. They challenge their members and quickly reproduce.
3. Target LIFE Groups – These are groups with a particular target or focus. Some of our target groups focus on intercession, interpersonal support around an area, healing, deliverance, or even careers or lifestyles.
The LIFE Leadership Process:

Jubilee Orientation:
A brief seminar describing Jubilee International Ministries' history and purpose. The class introduces new Jubilee church attendees to covenant faithfulness through membership and details the exciting process of LIFE Leadership.

LIFE Leadership Triangle:
The LIFE Leadership triangle is a vigorous, nine-month training process that will benefit you for the rest of your life. God has a wonderful plan for your life and that plan includes being a disciple and making disciples. Every believer is called to lead. When you step into the fullness of what God has for you as a leader you step into your destiny!

LIFE Leadership Schedule:

Step 1. WIN: The first step of Leadership is winning! Proverbs 11:30 says he that winneth souls is wise. We win people through friendship and evangelism.

Step 2. INTEGRATE: The second step of Leadership is integration. To integrate means to make something a part of a whole. Integration happens through follow-up, relationship development, and culminates in a weekend retreat we call the “Encounter Weekend.” The Encounter Weekend is the most important part of the LIFE Process. The purpose of this two-night retreat is to encounter God in a very personal and intimate way. Past issues and spiritual “baggage” are dealt with in a remarkable way during this retreat. It is a life-changing experience that is a “must” in the life of every believer.

Step 3. DISCIPLE: The disciple process begins immediately after a person attends an encounter retreat when they enter the LIFE School of Leaders. The school of leaders is a course made up of Four six-week quarters that develop the innate leadership skills found in every believer. This inspiring time will enhance a person’s whole perspective on leadership and will challenge him or her to discipleship.

Step 4. IDENTIFY: During the discipleship process, two weekend seminars will held to help each member discover what God has called them to be and to do.
- Discovery Seminar: This one-day seminar is built around discovering spiritual identity. The seminar covers in-depth teaching on motivational gifts and personality. Students will leave the seminar with a fresh understanding of who they are in Christ and how to discover their purpose.
- Practical Ministry Seminar: This weekend seminar is a practical application of ministry through the Gifts of the Spirit. The student will receive hands-on training in personal ministry. The course instills boldness and activates the student’s faith in using the revelation gifts, power gifts, and utterance gifts to minister to others.

Step 5. SEND: Sending is the last part of the LIFE Leadership process, but only begins the process of leadership. After completing the school of leaders and corresponding seminars, students attend a final event known as the Champion’s Banquet. This special time is marked with celebration and teaching on ministry, servanthood, and sonship. The student is established as a potential LIFE leader and is prepared to enter a place of leadership in the body of Christ.

The “Team” Principle or Principle of “Twelve”:

Why “12?” Twelve is the number that represents government in the Bible. It has proven to be the key number of effective inter-personal relationships and is the number of leaders Jesus chose to disciple.

Twelve is used throughout the Bible:
- 12 Tribes of Israel
- 12 Loaves of bread in the tabernacle of Moses
- 12 Stones from the Jordan River to build a memorial altar
- 12 disciples of Jesus
- 12 months to govern a year
- 12 levels and 12 gates in the New Jerusalem

Make a commitment to be a part of “12” and to build “12!”
